These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of olympustoronto.com and to every purchase you make from Olympus Toronto (“Olympus Toronto”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your province or territory.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory, or use the website with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and you must provide accurate, complete information when you place an order. You may not use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
2. Products and product information
We do our best to describe and display our products accurately, including sizing, materials and colours. Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen, and minor differences in packaging or finish may occur. If we discover an error in a product description, image or price, we may correct it. If an order was placed based on an obvious error, we will contact you and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Please check the size guide on each product page before ordering. Choosing the right size is your responsibility; if something does not fit, our Return & Refund Policy applies.
3. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise at checkout. Applicable sales taxes (GST/HST/PST/QST) are calculated at checkout. Any shipping charges, duties or other costs are shown before you complete your purchase. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted and paid, except in the case of an obvious error as described above.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel an order (for example in the case of suspected fraud, incorrect details, an obvious pricing error or unavailable stock). If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. The payment methods available are shown at checkout. See our Payment Terms for details.
6. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions (such as sales, bundles and discount codes) are subject to the conditions stated with the offer, including any end date. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined and cannot be applied after an order has been placed. If you return part of a bundle or multi-buy order, the refund may be recalculated based on the items you keep.
7. Shipping and delivery
Orders are processed and shipped as described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery times are estimates.
You are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address. Address errors must be reported to support@olympustoronto.com within 24 hours of placing your order. We are not responsible for orders that are delayed, lost or delivered elsewhere because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout; if tracking shows delivery to the address you entered, the order is considered delivered, except where the law requires otherwise. Any cost of resending a returned parcel may be charged to you.
8. Cancellations and changes
If you want to cancel or change your order, contact us as soon as possible at support@olympustoronto.com. We can usually help if your order has not yet been processed or shipped. Once an order has shipped, our Return & Refund Policy applies.
9. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy, which includes our 30-day return window. Please contact us before sending anything back.
10. Fraud and misuse
We may investigate and refuse orders, returns or claims that appear fraudulent or abusive (for example false delivery claims, deliberate damage or repeated misuse of promotions or returns), to the extent permitted by law.
11. Payment disputes
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it quickly. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or card issuer. In a dispute, we may share relevant order, delivery and communication records with the payment provider.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including the Olympus Toronto name and logo, text, images, graphics and design, is owned by or licensed to Olympus Toronto. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Third-party services
Our store runs on Shopify and uses third-party providers for payments, shipping and other services. Their own terms may also apply to your use of their services.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
15. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page, with its “Last updated” date, applies to orders placed from that date.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business operating Olympus Toronto. If you are a consumer in Canada, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province or territory, and nothing in these Terms takes those rights away.
18. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in full effect.
